Default 10,000th swap question

Before I start I did research on this but i thought it was a little unique compared to the other posts. Don't want to hear any flaming about the tranny.

I have a 2000 ex with the d16y8 automatic tranny. Looking to swap in a b16a2. I can get a killer deal on 30k mile engine, tranny, ecu and free shipping. Transmission on the A2 is already an automatic. Can someone link me to a thread that can actually help or simply tell me what parts I am also going to need with this swap. Please don't flame and be very specific.

Thanks James

99-00 Si came with the b16a2, not a4, and was never offered in an automatic.

well jdm's r simply badged b16a no designation

i always mix up a2/3/4 but there is a usdm auto b16 maybe the si del sol or order parts from canada b/c they for 100% percent sure did sell an auto si

if not u can use all ls auto parts just left axle and intermediate shaft will be challenging to figure out which ones will match up

the b16a is the fastest out of all the b16 series minus the b16b.

doing a motor swap and leaving it auto is a waste of time and money.

Such harsh words over an internet board.

Read my first post. Thats why I said what I did.

And as my father at least I know who mine is.
