1 abused sob ...... pix!!!
this is a b20 block, ls head (i believe)
this is what happens when you take your engine to excess performace in langley BC. my friend took his b20 there, built it for him... and this is the result! nice eh?
he is taking them to court for this, and for the 6 months they took to build the motor that blew inless than 10 mins.

Haven't really heard much thats good about them ever
Next time go to A&J Racing in Richmond, a little more expensive than some shops but well worth the extra price. They are only about 20 miles away and they are excellent

yeah look at the carbon buildup on that piston... waay more than 10 mins have been driven on that, or the shop never replaced the pistons and or cleaned them in this "built" motor?

i hope he gets compensated in some way..but,good luck in court-judge is going to say it could just as well be user error,and a performance build is subject to a much higher failure rate than a stock part.......
this is a great example of why you should buy a Helm manual and learn to do everything yourself.

Why an LS head? Isn't that the same as B20? Doesn't look like such an expensive setup, it won't set you back much.
