Default 1. 75 OR 2.5 DROP ON AN EK COUPE SITTING ON 205/60/14??

I don't know wether to buy performance springs that will drop my ek dx coupe 1. 75/1.5 or 2.5/2.225. Most likely I will keep my stock 14's, 205/60/14. I DO NOT want my car to look like those stupid ******* that lower their cars too much and it just looks plain sick. If I go with the 2.5 drop, will my my fenders be covering half of my tires(you guys know what i'm talking about). I also don't want my car to look like if it can still be dropped some more(i've seen too many cars like that). I know that i'l be alright if I get the 1.75 drop, but will the 2.5 drop still look good or even better. My buddy was trying to sell me his springs he had on his ek ex coupe. They are a 2.5 drop. He is sitting on gsr blades and that **** looks ******* dope........Any information will be greatly appreciated.....THAKNS!!

whatever you like. if u go for the 2.5/2.25 [h&r race springs?] get some struts or you'll bounce like crazy. make SURE you get a camber kit or you'll be goin through tires quickly

i'd go with the 1.5 or 1.75. depending on where you're from (road problems etc...). here in michigan, i had my ek coupe lowered quite a bit, never actually measured the drop though and i had problems left and right with the horrible roads we have here. also, what struts are you using? i know some of the manufacturers will not warrenty a blow strut if you've lowered your car more than like 1"-1.5" i believe. im not sure on the specifics of that though. just a couple things to watch out for. and like ek9at10psi said, the camber kit is definatly going to be needed.

1.75"-2.5" on 14"s is about right. Depending how bad are the roads around your place. Make sure to get good shocks though, that's what determines if you car handles or jumps all over the road.

I've got Tein S-Tech lowering springs (1.9" front drop and 1.7" rear drop). In my honest opinion the ride with these on my stock struts is just as good as with the stock springs if not better. The drop isnt crazy either, but looks nice and clean to me.

no idea how low i'm dropped. but is this too low for ya? 2.5" is fine...you wont' look as low on 14's because of the rounder sidewall and super fat profile

I wish I just had some coil overs but my funds are not sufficient, so I am either going to have to go with a 1. 75/1.5 or 2.5/2.25 drop.....it's one or the other
