Default 1/4 time for 148whp

hey guys,
I was wondering, My 93 hatchback has 148WHP, 180hp @ fly. B16A1 motor with full interior,Intake,Headers, throttle body, Ecu tuned to redline @ 9000, full exhaust (ghetto). I was wondering how fast should I be averaging for the 1/4 mile?

i would say around 14 maybe 13 but i could be wrong. its so hard to tell what you would do in the 1/4 mile based on horsepower. u just have to go down to the track and see for yourself

well the fahked up thing today was, I did a G-tech on it.
my buddy took my car out for a 1/4mile testing and it did a 17.3!!!?!!!
but when he did it, he had a passenger too. this leaves me scraching my head? cause would'nt a regualar civic si/dx run 16's stock????
well I'm hoping its my ghetto exhast I've made, and my over sized tires (winter)
cause if my car does run 17's when I change my exhast I think I'm going to give up on HONDAS...please give me hope!!!!

Maybe your buddy is a crappy driver. You should at least be in the low 14's. Why not just go to the track and run it yourself? I'd use smaller rims/tires if you have really heavy one's. Practice makes perfect in drag racing. Good luck!

the most important modification is the driver.

well, I do have a minor leak by my cattie. my 2.5 inch exhaust is ripped open all around. I held it with a pop can and some clamps.
I'm going to do some minor fixing on that and minor tune ups b4 my next run. maybe next weekend, I'll let u guys noe what happens.
and oh yea... how accurate is a G-tech??

you should be in the 14's easy... just go to the track and race it. the GTECH can be inaccurate sometimes.

oook
1) are you running stock cams? if you are they dont make power past 8300 so going to 9000 dosent help you at all.

2) there are way too many variables to give you an exact 1/4 time. car weight, temprature, altitude, tires, etc.

it could range from low 14's mid 15's if you cant drive.

I never redline my car, I take it to 8500.
does anyone know what a stock B16A1 should be hitting in the 1/4mile?

till next week I'll post my new times, as in this week a horable 17.3 scares me

ugh again
you need to run it and find out

and FYI you cant say 148WHP because even in stock form, the motors very up to 10hp. so you could have 140whp you could have 155whp.

you wont run a 17.3 unless the motor is broken, dont worry.

I ran a 15.5 with a shitty shitty 2.4 60 foot. I blame it on bad tires and well bad driver. That was a b16a2 in a 97 cx hatch, full interior, I/H/E, and chipped p28. I also sugggest that you get a gsr or si fuel pump because it made a .2 second difference in my 1/4 time.
