don't try to look for stuff that says 1.3L only. most SOHC parts, if not all, are interchangeable. look for parts that apply to 92-95 Civic/Civic Hatchback's if you want them to be that specific.

I think you mean 1.5L. Right? There is a good hand full of mods for the d-series and they are pretty cheap. As far as putting in a tach. Just rip on out of an Si or Ex and swap the speedo out of your cluster and into the new one. It is clean and is none of this rice guage **** all over your car. There are lot's of intake, exhuast, mini-me, header, boost, etc. I could go on, but that should get you started. Look for mods from AEM, Skunk2, etc. and for the 5th gen (92-95) and there will be lot's to choose from. Also the local import junkyard is great for stealing things out of Si's .

Nope. I'm pretty sure there were 1.3L D series sold overseas. He can still use 1.5L parts.

Bond no I mean a 1.3dx not a 1.5 its Kinda strange how a 1.3 Carb has 16v when there is no injection from my knowledge....
Well Thanx 2 all for your help and advice...I dont really use Honda Tech but you all seem forward and helpful so cheers again.
I currently dont have a rev counter on the car so I bought the Tacho but then found out that my model doesnt have a coil....not quite sure where the coil is or where to find it in the engine bay but acording to the diregrams I need to follow wires from the distributor and it should be there.
Nesh

no i'm not reffering to the vin number....
the engine code should be on the block... look on the left of the exhaust manifold... there should be a flat space where its written.

Not that I've done this before, since I got an ex cluster installed free with my swap, but looking at this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1053318 you can see that there's a tach lead on the civic cluster harness. Pick your year, look at the charts, and run that lead to the aftermarket tach's wire (looks like it'll be eg=A8 and ek=B8). I'm guessing Honda has that tach wire outputting the same signals as what you'd put through an aftermarket tach, although I could be wrong. I also doubt that Honda used different wiring for a UK car. Its worth a try. Do a search and you'll no doubt find a thread on how to get the cluster out too Cheers

Alright Honda crew...gd news well got the tachometer fitted and found a point to where 1.3 dx model rev outputs can be taken from.....
I shall try and get a picture of this...the wiring seemed tricky at first but I saw it didnt take these AE long to do.
Info provided by those I wish to say thanx for this and that I am now bored of little speed so a 1.6 VTI civic upgrade from my model sounds like my nex level.
Thanx Again
Nesh
