1.3" Drop on a 6th gen CIVIC... WHICH springs?
Okay, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it seemed like the most appropriate place to me...
Okay, so I've got ground control coilovers right now, and i do enjoy the way they ride, but i want something thats more smooth, but still rides better than stock. i love the look of slammed cars, but i get sick of dodging speed bumps, and ripping up my exhaust/undercarriage... yet i still want my car to HANDLE well.
basically i want something that'll drop my car 1.3-1.5" all the way around, maybe a LITTLE more in the front. something that WONT force me to get a camber kit, or make me scrape on everything... while still making my car handle well..
i was thinking TEIN S-techs... what do you guys think?
thanks in advance, and if a mod feels the need to move this thread please feel free

yea thats the best choice. or maybe the tokico springs. the eibach will run you 200- 230.

What's wrong with the GC's you've got now? What rates, what dampers?

Heh, and I'm looking to go from the eibach pro kit to a set of ground control/450lb springs for a civic. Go figure. Pro kit does drop the car 1.25 inches according to eibach. That coupled with an STS rear bar and a single front bar work good for autocross, but it doesn't come close to a GC setup. I can however go over speedbumps without having to sneak up on them.

I would go with Comptech Sport springs. They are made by Eibach but have been tweaked with special spring rates for the left and right side which will provide a better balanced vehicle . You can get them here: http://www.autocarparts.com/part/189/13/

I'm going with H&R Sports on my 96. They drop ~ 1.7 front and 1.5 rear. I had pro kits on my last car (93 coupe) and that thing was slammed after a couple years (springs sagged). The H&R's also have decent rates from what I've read about them. Good luck with the decision.

I have some, but they're with the ugly black steelies and snows right now, so I'm not sure how useful they'd be. I'm also starting a write-up on my instal if anyone would be interested.

I had H&R springs on my car for like 4 years it rode smooth and never sagged!! check them out very high quality springs. The Eibach pro kit is good also like everyone else said!
