sorry for crappy camera

I cut off all the brackets from the stock dx rails - then positioned them back in the car & connected the front 2 brackets with 1/16X1 weld steel...then did the same connecting the the rear 2 brackets. then cut off the brackets on '06 si seats (so bottom of rails where flat) & welded the rails to the weld steel

pic of custom bracket...

in the pic above you can see one little tack weld which was made with the seats in the car...the seats were then removed (with brackets attached) & thoroughly welded

cliffs - weld stock dx brackets to steel bars - then weld steel bars to bottom of '06 si rails

stock dx vs si pics

sitting at stock height too (maybe 1" lower)

do you think its possible to just install them like S2000, EP, and RSX seats? just swap the seat pans. seems easier to me if its possible. don't have to cut and weld stuff.

the backs of the seats are much bigger & slightly taller...you actaully sit slightly lower than stock
