ok, im doing the infamous swap of a k20a engine from the type s to my 2002 black civic coupe. should be awesome! anyone do anything like this yet? i know i need the motor mounts from hasport but its like $649. i got a couple cheaper prices under $600 but isnt that still a little crazy for the 2 pc set? what about fitment, now they say you need a new wider radiator support so it doesnt touch? yikes here goes the engine at 9000 rpms jumping out of the hood..... i have a kaminari body kit on it now. its in the shop getting painted. has the hood with the scoop in it. any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

If you can afford the $6500 for the engine, trans, ecu, and axles why do you care about the $649 for mounts?

well the price is pretty straight forward, but i have a friend at a junkyard and he knows ppl so the price we wont really say. idk, maybe its just me, but $649 for mounts sounds a bit pricey. possibly because there so new and its a big thing to do? or maybe hasport is the only ones with them and they control the price....

Think of it this way, if you can afford the doing the swap and afford the motor.....why does the well machined HaSport mount kit's price bother you. I say get the kit, all of the R & D has been done on it already so saves you the trouble.

good point, but i guess im die-hard with the saying, "take care of the pennies and the dollars take care of themselves."

ill more than likely go out and grab em from this one reseller for like $599 i think i got it priced to. i work for a honda/acura dealership and got pricing through that.
