have an 03 civic EX 4dr sedan. Im thinking of some 17x7 rims (Exel M6's about 17#'s) with 215/45/17 tires. Anyone think it will hurt perf any, are they too big?

No eng. mods planned, its just a commuter i want to handle better., hoping for eighbach prokit, stb, with this wheel/tire set up and be done, but i worry my gutless engine would have troubble turning all this rubber., any comments appreciated.

i've seen 03's wit 17's i think they look real nice. but sedan i'm not sure, the coupes look a little better.

its harder to accelerate, but gas mileage is better on the freeway

It better be lowered at least 2.5 inches. That wheel well is huge.

well i think your car will ride not so hot for just commuting
