I have a 96 HX and I am going to put an EX head and ECU on it and I was wondering what I will have to change as far as 02 sensors or will the ECU plug in. Also I was told that I need a wide band 02 censor for a A/F ratio gauge and I believe that the HX has the wide-band 5 wire on it already. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also if you know of anything else that I have to change to get that ECU to work please let me know. I am putting a P2P in it so everyone said that it should plug in but I was just wondering about the O2 problem. Thanks Alot

Since you are changing over to the P2P, it will be looking for a 4 wire 02 sensor. I would say just replace the existing one you have and repin the wires to read as a 4 wire 02 sensor on the harness.

As far as the A/F guage, without a wideband sensor they are little more than a light show. I don't know 100% if they HX comes with a wideband 02 sensor or how you would hook that up to an A/F guage. If you do end up using it though, I'd just tap another hole in your exhaust or exhaust manifold before the cat.

Thanks. I was told that the HX was a wide band though. How do I repin it. What do I need to look for or is there a write up on it somewhere

there's a thread on here somewhere about how to repin. I'll look for it. You need to find the pinouts for you ECU now and for the P2P and rearrange as necessary.
