02 Sensor compatibility..EX/SI Helms Manual Check, Please
 

I drive a 2000 civic EX, will a 2000 civic SI front pre cat oxygen sensor give accurate readings?

yes it will work (both just 4wire o2's)

but the harness connector may be different.(there was a thread on this a little while ago)
If that becomes the case just cut the wires and connect the dead o2's end to the newer o2 sensor

Hey thanks man, I already had to do that once cause I've got a 92-95 02 sensor on there... If I had known what to search for I would have. Thanks though for not being an ass and actually replying to my thread.

ya it works just make sure you plug it into the first plug and not the second one.
