02 honda civic engine ticking... help...
i have an 02 handa civic ex coupe manual. I do not have the radiator or ac hooked up at the moment but it seems that what i start the car up and when its idleing there is a loud ticking sound from the engine that doesnt stop. When i step on the gas it gets even louder. can someone please help me out. thank you so much...

WHY THE **** ARE YOU RUNNING YOUR MOTOR WITH OUT COOLANT!?!?!?!
anyhow.... check timing. my friends DSM did this and it turned out the intake cam slipped a tooth. took forever to figure out. he had to take it to a shop.

thanks man. i'll check it out. i just turned on the car real quick to see if there is any problems. i just replaced the front support. this is the first time i start the car since i had it.
