Default 01 civic Transmission SWAP

I was wondering what manual transmission would be compatible with my 2001 civic lx D17a1 motor, my friend and i were going to do a conversion from auto to manual and add a turbo shortly after. I need to know if there are any other compatible transmissions like the itr or others. thank you.

i guess the d17a2 EX tranny should bolt up....i wouldnt suggest doing an auto to manual with an ES yet...i dont know how hard it is and how many people have done it already...you'd be better off with a DC5R or Si swap

my two cense

Why sell it? Just get yourself a K20 swap and be done with it? or for a little cheaper go with a b16 swap....

if you want to do a K20 swap that will cost you anywhere from 5 to 7 thousand dollars. They do this in I believe it is Sport compact in a 2k1 4 door. I dont think a transmission swap would be that smart. The money you spend on that could go to a K20 swap. just my 02 cents
