00 si cluster and ac unit not lighting up?

my boy installed a 97 type r radio in his 00 si and his cluster and ac unit dont light up but the radio does....we checked all the fuses and they are all perfect? anyone got any ideas?

You probably miss hooked a wire in the harness. It's probably shorting out the dash lights.

you have to change the lights in back of the a/c unit

check all the plugs that go into the si cluster, check to see if it even has a damn light bulb!
