00 OEM EK Hatch vs. 96-00 Seibon Fitment Question?
so i recently got rearended in my 00 ek hatch and my trunk got smashed in and i went the way of replacing the hatch with a 96-00 seibon oem hatch. when i started switching over the hardware the holes/cut out in the cf trunk was different then my oem hatch. friend said the cf trunk was 96-98 spec (without handle/latch like on 99-00 hatch.) the license plate light cut out was different on the cf hatch too. also the latch lock rectangle was alot smaller then the one on my oem hatch.....was wondering if anyone had this problem and wanted opinion/input/experiance in what i should do....if anything i will have to convert to 96-98 spec and buy all the older hatch hardware and use a cable to where the gas lid "opener/popper?"

and with the seibon trunk would you still need the the plastic piece that surrounds the license plate?
