00 hatch conversion to full si or possibly ctr
hey all I am completely converting the wiring in my 00 hatch to that of the 00 si or maybe even the ctr, so far I have installed the 00 si doors and the wiring harness from the dash to the rear quarter. this was an easy swap except for the three wires I had to run inorder for the rear wiper to work. now I am currently swappin the dash and wiring from the dash all of the way out to the headlights. I am running into a few snags but it's going well. I just finished the front section of this harness that runs from the dr side strut tower, and loops all the way around the headlights and behind the radiator and back up to the passenger side strut tower. it was all the same except for the extra wire for the rear washer motor (and of course the cruise wiring), so I dissected my dx factory harness and removed the washer mtr wire and installed it into the one for the 00 si. now all I have to do is the dash part. I have a friend that works at honda so I have access to the the wiring manuals, I think all ihave to do now is run the extra wires for the rear wiper and washer mtr and I should be in business. I got all of the wiring from a rolled 00 si. now my car will have all options, p/windows, p/locks, p/mirrors, cruise, factory keyless, and when it's done it will have a sunroof as well. i'm having the sunroof installed by the body shop, but I have to take both headliner's and have a custom one made at the local upholstry shop!

I've done it and the only problem I found you have already covered. I needed to run wiring for the rear wiper and water squirter to work too.
Well worth it.
I bought a fully wrecked SI and just tore the whole thing apart and put its entire wiring harness, engine, suspension, brakes etc etc etc etc.
It was easy to do and I think it looks great.
