00 ex. again
Hello, long time cruiser on the site, but never really joined. I have owned threee hondas before so for a good introduction i guess ill go through them.
1. 86 honda prelude. a18, beater of a car, but kind of neat with the dual carb setup, would stay with ls's until 4th to fifth. not too bad for three hundred bones.
2. 2000 ex. vogue silver. basic bolt-ons, nothing fancy, loved this car until it was stolen and beaten down by sheriff's and state rods. totaled of course, def. sucked as it was almost paid off.
3. 92 si hatch. d16z6,basic bolt-ons, hood, wheels and such, a little ricey, im not going to lie. not too quick but awesome on long bending roads. had to sell because i needed a truck for work.
4. civic ex(si clone) current car. Vogue silver, again
Been on the hunt for awhile for a si, but didnt like the idea of dropping
5,500-6000 g's for them around here. insurance will be just a hair cheaper as well(missouri). also loved my old ex so i thought to myslef that if i could find one in decent shape ive got to jump on it
so found a 2000 ex si clone local and went and dropped some cash on it. looks to be b16a with gsr trans. all stock besides hks exhaust. interior decent si shape with some cigarette burns, exterior has its dings and dents, which im going to try to get fixed within a month or so, just going to run it for now to see how it goes first. misc issues so far, si speedo seems to be off a bit, ball joint up front needs to be replaced, been looking for haynes manual in pdf to fix it. dont need to buy a bunch of crazy ****, as problems need to be fixed first, fun will be later. thanks for reading this long as hell post and any help will be appreciated.
