'00 ek4 already burned 3 ecu's. Help needed!
Hi there,
I'm having some problems and i would like to have some advice from you. I already did a lot of search on the subject but didn't find anything.
I was running a p30 with obd2b to obd1 harness for 6 months without any problems. One day, the tach stopped working and it started to smell like burned electronics and some smoke..lol.
Right after that i switched to oem ecu and i worked well, then I went to honda and they just changed the related fuse.
After this i tried to plug 2 other ecu's (p28 and p30) and both got burned, more precisely the D1780 transistor (Q31). I've done some research and found that it is related to pin A20 that goes to evap purge control solenoid valve. I saw someone's post saying that it happens when the IAT and PCS are broken or not working well. Then i remembered that a few days before the first ecu got burned i switched the oem intake filter box to the itr one as well as the complete intake manifold system, so it might be it, cause i didn't put the IAT sensor in the new pipe that goes from the air box to the TB.
Could someone please give me some hints about this problem?

The IAT it's conected but not pluged into the rubber pipe, it's getting the engine heat. I tested the harness with a multimeter and all the wires that go into the trasistor that I burnt are fine.
