Default 00' civic w/ no power??

Hey there ht!
So i recently swapped the motor.out of my 00' civic dx and i just replaced the motor with another y7
So i put it all back in and all everything is hooked up and put back together but when i tried to start it,
I would just hear like a loud click/pop noise
I checked fuses and grounds and all and tried again the next day but same thing
So ghe third time trying it the car has no power at all now. So my friend let me borrow a brand new battery he just bought but still nothing? What could it be?
Any input back would be great and very helpful
Thank you for looking

Check your engine bay fuses? If you're not getting power inside your car to crank it than the first thing to look at is the engine bay fusebox.

Sounds like your grounds are not done right. Make sure you have them properly grounded on the chassis.

I was told that since I have a y8 Manifold it could be a reason why it has that fast idle issue?

Sounds like you haev a vacuum leak. The FITV could make it idle higher but ... how high is it idling?

Honestly, I'm not to sure cause I have the cluster that has no rpm:\
But it's idling really high.

Really high like over 2,000 RPM high? If so, I would check that intake manifold gasket first for vac leaks.

really depends on what really high is.

If it sounds like its over 2k RPM like slomofo said then... check for vacuum leaks for sure.

So I was told that it could be the FITV but I replaced the manifold with the old manifold to see if there would be a change but there isn't? So does that mean it's not the FITV?
but I accidentally left the FITV unplugged and the car didn't have the problem anymore it idled at a nice ram. But when I plugged it back in it started to idle crazy high again and yes it is over 2k when idling..
What could it be? I do apologize for all the questions I just need help haha thanks again in advance!

Sounds like a problem with your IACV. It could be that both are bad or it could be that your ECU/wiring has a problem and is not sending the proper voltage.
If its an automatic one then its the little magnetic block, those blocks don't usually go bad so I'd most likely say its either dirty or just wiring. Try cleaning it first. They are notorious for getting dirty & stuck.

Your engine doesn't have an FITV.

The FITV is built into the IACV on the Auto 96-00 civics.

It's just an IACV. No FITV whatsoever. Eliminated.

Yes its right under the Throttle body.

I always thought it was also a FITV because it has water lines that run through it. O well.

The IACV also has coolant lines, but to prevent the air control mechanism from freezing up in the winter.
