00 civic si with a turbo gsr swap - turns over but won't start
i put a turbo gsr swap in my 00 civic si and converted it to obd1 with a chipped p28 ecu and a conversion harness. i have fuel and spark but for some reason it won't start. just keeps cranking over and over. if i pull the plugs and set them on top i get even sequential fireballs. anyone have any idea's.

Could be, I was going to come in here and mention that.
This little guy is supposed to help B-series belts from jumping teeth:

Construction is CNC-machined billet aluminum with stainless steel washers and fasteners. The tensioner roller is black-oxide coated steel with premium ball bearing rated to 40,000 RPM.
Construction is CNC-machined billet aluminum with stainless steel washers and fasteners. The tensioner position is adjustable by loosening two bolts. The design of the tensioner also permits use with minimal belt shroud trimming.
This kit is intended for use with B series VTEC head applications. It will not work with non-VTEC heads.
Price is $134.50 each

How long did you do the firing of the plugs out of the cylinder? If you did it for too long, you could've burned up your coil. Not alluding it to your no start problem but a problem you can encounter down the road because of it.

timing was my first idea, ripped the covers off and timing is spot on. and the spark plug idea, i have a msd ignition and coil on it and just put new NGK plugs in. i haven't done the spark plug idea for long, just once to make sure the firing order and injectors were all working correctly. i'm so confused as to why it won't start

found out what it was. if anyone has this problem and has and aftermarket coil it might have gone bad.... replaced the coil and it fired right up. had spark just apparently wasn't enough
