Did you test for spark with HEI tester like this? The voltage necessary to fire the HEI Spark Tester is around 35,000 volts.

When was the last time your car ran? What has changed since then?

I don't know why I missed this last night. This might be causing you more problems. Post a diagram on how you wired it. A fuel pump is a high current device ( like a head light ). You can't just wire a switch to it.

When I was 20 (cough cough a long time ago) I had a porsche 914 that the ignition switch went out. I thought I was cool/smart because I by passed the switch with a cool push button ( like s2000 ). I burnt out two switches before I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Your need to bypass the main relay and wire the fuel pump directly to voltage suggests:

1) The main relay is bad and needs resoldering.
2) Fuse 44 or 13 is blown.
3) The G101 ground on the thermostat housing is disconnected, loose, or corroded.
4) The ECU is bad.

Check these^ and then go from there.

When you solve the problem, then rewire your fuel pump and main relay to stock. The main relay is a fire prevention device that stops the fuel pump from running after an accident when the car has stopped.
