00 civic si, Fuel Filter banjo bolt torque value?
My service manual left out the torque value for the 17mm top banjo bolt on the Fuel filter and the torque value for the bottom as well. Would somone please post up the torque values? The manual says to check the values in the specs at the front...but they are not listed.

just until the crush washers are tight. just not overly tighten, just until you feel it not turning anymore when you turn the wrench lightly, then add a little jerk.. I don't have my book here, so I can't check for you.

Same filter, so yes. Generally you can do it by feel... torque until you feel the washers crush fully. Never just go 'as tight as you can go' on any fastener.
Make sure you use a wrench on the filter as well so that you don't transmit the torque through the filter and bend the bracket.

I've also been hosed by the ugga duggs crowd, by both over and under torqued stuff.
One resulted in engine failure - though - if my granddaughter had shut down the Suburban when the engine light came on, there would not have been much of an issue.
