best thing to do: buy a 99 civic repair harness to plug into your 99 si deck and a 92-95 civic aftermarket radio -> stock harness. that way you dont need a diagram or any cutting of the factory harness.

but the 99 civic repair harness won't have the wires labeled so you'll need a helms or schematic of some sort to tell you which wire is which... i don't have my helms in front of me right now but if you need help, let me know, i'll post the designators and wire color. i just installed a 99 civic cd player in my 91 accord.

hmmm... that's weird... i just wired mine and the helms shows different plugs for 96-98 than 99-00 and it was verified with my 96 civic (plug was pre 99) and 00 civic.
basically, my 96 plug was the same as my 91 accord plug and the 00 plug on the cd player was different than the "old style" honda plugs... and that's what the helm manual showed as well. maybe somehow you got a new plug on your 94 ex or you got an old style unit from the si for some reason.

I installed mine by buying a reverse harness for the CD player from circuit city and then i used the wiring diagramon my old radio for making the connections. The wiring diagram was on the underside of the stock radio.
