Default 00 Civic Si: Car dies while warming up (cold) fine when its warm.

My civic recently started doing this. Dies multiple times while warming up cold engine, starts just fine, no hard start. Has new plugs, cap, rotor, wires, coil.
Once the engine is warmed up, it is fine.

ALSO
I noticed exhaust coming out around the cat, a leak, it even left a moisture "puddle" so I knew it wasn't just coming back under the car due to wind or something. I took it to an open pit, and checked it out from downstairs, and there was no leak anywhere....???

The engine kind of bogs while its dying, it has to have something to do with that exhaust leak that also only happens to happen when the engine is cold.

???

You're not supposed to warm up an engine. if it starts you are supposed to drive it. And do you have an exhaust leak or not? You know metal expands when hot right?

I warm it up because I don't want to drive in a 25 degree car. This problem only happens when the car is cold, after multiple restarts it doesn't happen after the car is a little bit warmed up.

As far as the exhaust leak, I saw it coming out from the middle of the car, but didn't see anything coming out when I got to the open pit.

Again. HONDA says if the car starts you are to drive it. Check the owners manual if you don't believe me. It warms up faster if you actually drive it. But hey, it's your car...

Your exhaust leak, which is NOT good for your car either, can be explained by simple physics. If you have an exhaust leak only when it's cold and not when hot that means that the heated metal has expanded to eliminate the leak and seal whatever "hole" is there when cold. When you get it to the pit the car, and therefore the exhaust components are, of course, HOT. Therefore, no leak! Possibly you have a gasket blown out or something since you seem to say that it's at a seam.

I do believe you I just let it warm up while I get ready for work so the heater is gtg when I take off.

Could this exhaust leak be causing the stalls?

Are there gaskets on both sides of the cat? I'm not 100% its at a seam, it just seemed likely, and I couldn't see any holes in the piping around the area I saw leaking. I appreciate your help.

Stalls when idling? Idling then give it gas? Stalls when cold when driving?

Stalls when idling, once it starts to bog down, its 50/50 on whether or not giving it gas will save it. Doesn't stall while driving, but I haven't driven it cold, I will try that later.

Would the IACV be the cause possibly?

Found the leak, gasket right after the resonator, before the muffler (Greddy Evo II)

Gonna fix this on Saturday, anyone know if this could possibly be the cause of the rough, chubby idles and stalls?

After replacing the gasket, the car stopped stalling when cold, very weird.
