00 civic Si air condition question ??????

Default 00 civic Si air condition question ??????

Ok now when replacing the air condition belt how in the hell do i get the belt on do i have to take that mount thing off or what in sam hell do i do i had to cut the belt

and because of the tensioner screw had gotten loose some how and the pulley had fallen down so i cut the belt off because of the mount that goes through the belt

now when reinstalling the new belt how do i get it on do i have to take that mount off and when i do is there a proper way to take it off or what?

I'm so confused...
you should be able to loosen the tensioner and just put it on. Obviously I'm missing something here though.

when i recently changed my alternator belt i noticed that it looks impossible to get that belt off without removing the mount...bump for an answer.

um you have to remove the mount to get it on man... or you have to undo the power steering to get the belt in between the power steering belt and the timing belt.

My tentioner pulley just fell off one day and I had to cut that damn belt because there is no way to remove it either without unbolting a gang of ****.

you have to remove the ps belt, then the 2 bolts on driver side torque mount then finest the ac belt on.

the mount that i colored is the one im talking about is there a special way to remove it like do i need to hold anything up ....... and yes i am changing my altenator belt when i do this lol that is what happend when the pulley fell on it

but ya what is the correct way to take that mount off??

yes you have to take off the mount to put the belt on.

just unbolt the 2 14mm bolts or 17 i think and take off the mount.
then you can put the belt on.
you might want to take off the 19mm nut holding the mount onto the bracket for easier access
