Default 00 Civic EX - Hesitation/Misfire Issues

hello ht people have been having a few problems with my Civic lately and I'm not sure what is cause the issue hoping someone would be able to help as I'm not very car inclined, need to learn more though. Issues is I'll be driving down the road and randomly it will act like I'm not pressing the gas. Doesn't bog down or anything just decelerates like you have taken your foot off the pedal. If I take my foot off and put it back on the gas it starts going again. I'm not really sure what is causing the issues so any help would be appreciated.

Car is a 2000 Honda Civic EX D16Y8 161k

Have tried new plugs, wires, and fuel filter.

Thanks again

Auto or manual transmission?

Any CEL codes?

Why haven't you also replaced the fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, and adjusted the ignition timing to spec. Do those things and then go from there, such as testing the TPS.

Def check the TPS. Also check the throttle cable, make sure it is not dirty at the throttle body, and you can move it freely.

Check the stickies for timing, you need a timing gun.
