If you really want to go faster, save your money for a swap. D16Y8 motors don't respond that much to bolt-ons. Just intake/header/exhaust setup will net you maybe 10hp, if you are lucky, at a cost of about $1000 for quality name brand parts. Doing a boost setup will definitely help but, in my opinion, a swap and then build from there is a much better investment. When I spun a rod bearing in my D16Y8, it was the best thing that happened to me because I ended up swapping in a GSR motor. I haven't looked back since.
