Default 00 civic dx starter issue?

Any help would be appreciated greatly:
Just picked up a 00 civic dx hatchback completely stock just recently I had an issue where the car didn't wanna start I heard the fuel prime i can clearly hear the three clicks on the main relay so I doubt that's it. Also, I can push start the car and it runs perfect and when I drive the car for a whole like 20 miles to work the car starts up fine any body have any suggestions?

My DA wouldn't start but after jumping it and letting it run or driving it for awhile it will start right up. how is your battery and alternator?

By the way, the main relay and fuel pump have nothing whatsoever to do with the starter.

Alright so i came down to a conclusion to this so I followed the links that Hondapartshero and did the starter test and checked the clutch safety switch and those two worked so I took my car to a local auto and had them check battery and my battery was pretty low and alternator was only pushing like 11 volts. That being said I had them charge mu battery and replaced the alternator/speed sensor fuse due to the fact that it was extremely cloudy so I guess I'm going to drive it around and check the output of the alternator tomorrow. Keep you guys updated thanks.

Eh back to this problem again. So alternator was replaced. Troubleshooted again like links that Honda parts hero posted but once I test my starter by Clamping the starter lead terminal with a test light and running it directly to the battery the car will start and will continue to start after that than this whole issue starts again. I'm leaning towards the starter now but I want some input from anyone else whose more experienced than myself thanks.
