00 Civic Coupe Windows Off Track
I fixed both my driver and passenger side windows about 5 times but they still go off track at the wrong times, especially when I'm traveling 100 miles away from my tools. Is it the door or the window itself?

Those generation Civics are notorious about window regulator issues. Replace them with Genuine Honda parts...not crappy OEM junk from ebay.

The same thing kept happening to me. I replaced the window rubber channel, or whatever is called and sprayed the channel with silicon spray prior to installing the window glass again and have not had anymore problems with it. I used a video from youtube of a guy doing the installation on a Honda Accord.

I pull my windows each spring to clean and re-grease the tracks while re-aligning everything. You will become a pro at it sooner or later.

make sure u get it nice and snug in the weather stripping, and tighten the bottom and top screws so theres no wiggle. i had to do this last saturday cuz my window came off track also, not hard to do. Also make sure there isn't anything lodged in there

It's almost definitely the regulator. You can replace the glass and run channels, but it'll happen again sooner or later. It's like the rivets that hold the scissor arms together get loose over time.... and really start to **** people off and cause a lot of aggrevation. And it ALWAYS happens at the worst time.
