I have a 2000 Honda Civic 4 door, originally an automatic, with a B18B1 engine swap and manual tranny conversion. The engine came from a 1997 Integra LS with an A/T, but I'm not sure about the tranny as the work was done by the previous owner.

My problem is that the backup lights don't work, and I need some info in order to fix it.

I've spotted the cause, and it's pretty obvious. After tracing the pair of wires from the backup light switch in the tranny up to a plug on the other end of the wires, I found that nothing was plugged into it!

What I need to know is where the reverse light switch is normally located on a 2000 civic with an A/T, where the plug on the end of the wires is normally located, what plugs into it, and whether it will fit the plug on the end of the wires attached to the backup light switch that's currently in my car.

In addition, EXTREMELY helpful information would be where wires emerge from the firewall in my car, what the plugs look like, and of course, PICS!
