Default 00 civic

I need help i have a problem with my civic its an automatic and the tranny bad. the D is flashing and the altrnator wont charge. the way this started was when my o2 sensor scrapped on the ground because the car was too low and i already changed the tranny once before and it worked fine and then it happened again. I think its something electrical cuz the tranny was shifting good until the O2 scrapped on the ground. please i need help

So I don't get it. You know the transmission is bad. Swap it out.

You may have bad/ shorted wiring. Check the bottom of the vehicle or any connector going to the trans to see if the wiring is frayed or damaged.

I'm really trying hard to decipher your post.

You said this happened before, which is why you swapped the tranny originally, but now that it's doing it again because of the 02. Was the 02 damaged, and was it replaced? How was the 02 even damaged by the car being to low?

How do you know the alternator isn't working? Do you have a battery light? If you think there is an electrical problem and the alternator is bad, why don't you replace that and see if that is the problem?

What specifically is the tranny doing?

ok the problem started when the O2 sensor scrapped on the ground and wires were ripped off then the D on the cluster started to flash then my rpms stopped working and my speedometer and then the alternator stopped working cuz i think it made a short when the O2 sensor scrapped. the first time it did this i thought it was just the tranny so changed it and the problem went away. but now since it happened again im thinking it got to be something with the wiring cuz the tranny was running good i just dnt wnt to buy another tranny

So is the tranny bad or not? Sounds like you're just guessing instead of troubleshooting. And how do you destroy an O2 sensor from being too low?

You blew the alternator fuse, which completes the circuit leading to the alternator, both oxygen sensors, and the VSS.

o2 sensors are usually ran through ur alternator circuit and will blow a fuse. so check the fuses for ur alternator and others. if the D is flashing on ur automatic. once u reset the ecu again and if it returns then ur transmission is due for service and could possibly be burnt up. i dont know if u have been experiencing any lagging or shifting issues lately?

Because that's exactly what happens when you short an oxygen sensor.
