alright im in the process of getting a new honda its a 92-95 honda civic ex coupe not to sure on the year but anyhow it has a newer motor in it but has 200xxx on the chasis the body has not rust whatso ever and its from iowa so its always a plus the only negative is its a automatic the kid is wanting 1000 for it do you think it would be worth to buy and do a manual swap..?

This is just my opinion, but no. Rather just pay the extra couple hundred for a different car and not deal with that headache

i know the auto to manual swap will be a pain but i dont mind the extra work in order to get a clean body..has anybody else been in this situation?

i have one no rust non molested edition its in the 92-95 eg section titled jdm gsr swapped eg

to the OP:
i bought my 95 coupe for 200bux and all it needed was a water pump and it had low miles on it
and had also picked up a 94 coupe that ran perfect with a b16 already in it for 500, also with low miles and even lower miles on the motor.
so if i were you i wouldnt bother and i would wait for a better deal. .

well its hard to come by a deal like those especially in iowa most ppl want over 4k w/ swapped civics i dont think ill find any good deals in iowa for those prices
