~~~B16 HATCH BOGGIN OUT~~~
I HAVE A 1995 CIVIC HATCH SI WITH A B16A SWAP FOR SOME REASON LATELY IT HAS BEEN BOGGIN DOWN THEN I FLOOR IT AND IT HESITATES THEN GETS UP AND GOES I HAVE DONE A COMPLETE TUNE UP (CAP,ROTOR,WIRES,PLUGS)BUT IT STILL DOES IT ANY IDEAS

ok, when did you have your complete tune-up done? Was everything you mentioned installed correctly? And if you have to floor it, then what you're saying definately sounds like your civic is being starved of fuel.

well it was done right and it only does it when we have less than 1/4 of a tank but any more than that its fine i am so confused i am thinkin its fuel filter but i am not sure i talked to my local honda mechanic and he said its probably the fuel filter or the cat is clogged but i have a high flow cat with a full 2 1/2 in exhaust anything helps guys thanks

I had close to the same problem before... My civic would act like it was runnin out of gas at 1/4 tank.. Turned out the strainer came off of the fuel pump and fell in the tank.. Put a new strainer on.. Changed the fuel filter.. Fixed the problem

well i am kinda new to the whole scene with dohc all i have done is sohc but where is the fuel filter located i never had to do one and that thing the other guy is alking about what is it what does it do and where is it lol thanks for all the help i will try to figure it out but more help would be great

fixed thanks for all the help turns out my buddy was messing with the stupid plugs wires and it broke apart and was only getting spark to the plug half the time causing it to cut out i should have paid closer attention but thanks for all the help guys
