<^Armrest for 98 hatch^>

The search gave multiple links to handaautomotiveparts.com, which apparently offered the armrests for ~$42 ($48 shipped, i believe?) but which no longer has anything at all along those lines, and hondaautomotiveparts.com lists every individual nut & bolt so that i have no idea what the hell i need etc...

Anyone know where i might pick up an armrest that would bolt into the 1998 hatches for a similar price?

Can't see buying used necessarily if brand new is >$50...unless the price was that good https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

TIA for replies...it's my GF's new car and she's itchin' to start moddin' it... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Thanks for the heads up, but all i could find were ones beat to piss on there, and still $50+ w/S&H... http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif

Honda dealers i called either said no, they don't have it or it'd be $250+ buying all the armrest parts piece by piece... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif

Anybody got any info? Hard to think the archives have multiple references to picking them up new for $50-100 and now it's 2½ times more expensive!

The interior is in good shape so i hate to put in a shit-ified armrest...TIA! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Anybody?!?? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emdgust.gif

I've been looking, getting answers from all over the spectrum. ('I can't even think of any civics that have an armrest...just accords'-Honda dealer / 'I can order all of the parts seperately, that'd be $250-300')

Ebay seems to carry only armrests that have been broken & pissed on (not necessarily in that order https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif ) plus it's not always a reliable seller.

Anyone w/an armrest in their hatch wanna let me in on the secret (or anyone who has swapped one into a 6th gen coupe or whatever) ? I can verify i'm in the club with the secret handshake if you can just tell me where to find the goodies (preferably new'ish) w/out having to bring a tube of anal lube along for the ride...

most people with armrests in their hatches just used the armrests from ex or si's. Did you try asking for a 99-00 Si armrest at the dealer?

Looks like San Leandro has it for a bit cheaper. Part 14 - $30, and Part 11 - $30 or $70 depending on the color of the interior.

i got my armrest from this place called pokom, i believe. i got it for about 60 bucks, brand new, the whole kit. the only other piece you really need is this bracket and a couple bolts for it. the remaining screws are already in your car. if you get a 20% discount at your dealership, like i do, you should be able to get it from an ex coupe for about 70 bucks. don't ask for the one that was an accessory on the hatch, it's way more expensive for some reason.
