Pretty good shocks for the money if I do say-so myself....
I noticed earlier you said they have a lifetime warranty...! Is this for all Illuminas? Or just from the people you bought them from? Cause my front-left is needing a replacement badly. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks for the props. The warranty I got is from Tokico directly, on the warranty forms, it has the Tokico logo all over them.

Oh man, that sucks. I got mine from ebay.... no warranty info/forms were provided.
Just four shocks in a cardboard box. I never thought twice about it.

I got mine from EBay, and I got a warranty. Maybe you could try contacting Tokico directly?

got mine from ebay as well, and it came shipped in a Tokico box with all the Tokico paper work. sorry to hear you didn't get that stuff. i agree, your best bet is to try Tokico, maybe if you have the recipt they will honor the warranty?

Re: [FAQ] Shock removal/install on EG! (Hybrid2Be)
The left side bolt came off okay but I still can't get the right one off. I have tried the socket wrench and tried using an impact gun. It just won't move. What else should I try?

Re: [FAQ] Shock removal/install on EG!
Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I have a couple questions, as my 96 feels like it needs new suspension here shortly.
1. Is the procedure the same for 96-00 Civics ?
And
2. Is an alignment needed after replacing the struts??

Re: [FAQ] Shock removal/install on EG!
Yes, this will work for a 96-00, just without the brake lines on the shocks.
You should get an alignment anytime you change something on your suspension.

Re: [FAQ] Shock removal/install on EG!
Thanks, I was a bit confused because I found the service manual PDF I downloaded some time ago and it mentioned nothing about alignment, I also checked the PDF instructions from Koni and that also said nothing about alignment
