Just curious if anyone has the part # for the actual manual bracket that gets welded to the frame. I DONT WANT THE CONVERSION MOUNT! TIA ;]

I thrashed on the car yesterday and got it done in one day. It is possible. I used del sol linkage, had to cut them down about two inches (would not recommend unless you can weld really well), but the way the shifter sits is awesome. I converted my ecu over to a manual one just by taking out a resistor. The hole swap was not hard at all. worked on the car for a total of 9 hours. Thanks for this write up it helped alot.

Old thread but this is very good I'm starting this project soon and Im waiting on my auto to manual mount from innovative lots of good info on here and I've heard you can use pedals from a teggie 94-01 and exactly what mounts are needed besides the top tranny pass. side?

I just did a 5 speed swap on my 94 eg and i am having a lot of problems. When the car was first finished, it ran decently, and now it is bogging down and stalling on me for no reason. The car will barely move until i get to third gear, and i am very worried that driving the car like this will ruin my transmission. I have not changes or altered the ECU yet. Do you think that changing to a manual ecu will fix my problems? Or does it sound like more?

How much did the shop charge you to put it all together? i know the prices will be different depending on where you are but just a general idea

One shop I called labor only for $800.00 . Parts $700-1200. I plan to do mine 94 dx.

I know this is really old but this seemed like the best place to ask and sorry if this is the wrong place or my question is answered somewhere else (I catch alot of **** on here) but I have a 95 manual dx eg8 with a dohc zc and the wireing is burn up from a short and all I could get was a 92 auto ex cabin harness what will need to be done to make it work I'm only finding bits and pices Tia and agin sorry if I'm in the wrong here I'm a total noob to Hondas ands here I work on CAT equipment lol
