You Don't Need those two retainer screws, Drill the Heads Out if you don't have an Impact Driver !!
It is extremely easy to do this it this way without an impact driver. I wished like hell I'd know this the first time I discovered the two little p.o.s. screws were jammed. You do NOT need to go running out and start buying impact drives and other crap.
===>Get a simple drill bit that is close to the size of the screw's head and drill out the heads of both screws. It does not take much at all to blow out the head. The rotor will pop right off at that point. I found that I could easily remove the remaining piece of scew that now resembled a short stud using my fingers and one needed a minor nudge with pliers to get it started.
Do NOT reinstall them. They are needed only during assembly line production to keep the rotors on before the rotor and wheels are installed. I have had four Civics and never reinstalled the screws afterward.

Re: [FAQ] How to: DIY brake rotor replacement (no ABS)
Dumb questions:
Did you buy the right rotor? Pads?
After that, did you use a caliper separator to push the piston back?

Looks like that.. Once the piston is recessed in the caliper the pads slide right over the rotor..

With the manual impact drivers, I found I had to turn mine a little so it took out the slop, and then whack it.
If you can't use the impact, just drill them out. Eventually youll drill through the head and just leave the threaded part. They used pretty soft metal for those screws. Just grind it flush after you take the rotor off...
