Re: (EKtypeRhaTcH)
If he's talking about the placement location on the fender, then I have some pics that I snapped a year ago of my friend's Si that had this professionally done. It turned out really nice.

The Center of the ek9/ek4 sidemarker should be where the top of the wheel well meets with the bottom front of the sideskirt. Here's a pic of my measurement:

slvrcivic97...so where those two lines cross should be dead center on the actual lense? i've had mine sitting here for months waiting to get a straight answer on placement.

Re: (slvrcivic97)
oh yeah, and just a few tips...I used one of those guages with bubble in them to make sure I got the line straight across from the wheel well.Use Radioshack's Metal Nibbler (10.00) to cut the hole out It's clean and takes time but makes the job ALOT easier. And also, I used some plummer's putty around my sidemarkers just in case to keep any water from entering. Not even noticeable. Oh yeah, before you start cutting, I would put clear tape right over your mark you're going to cut. This prevents any paint chipping. Worked great for me. THen peel it off after your finished. And then when you are finished cutting out the hole, put touch up paint if you have some handy around the bare metal. probably not needed either, but it's just an extra thing you can do to help it.

since its up...how about wiring? are you guys wiring right off the headlight? i've read this is easy to do...seems pretty logical considering how close they are to the headlights. now i just have to get the stones to cut big holes in my fenders

Re: (jumai182)
I realize this a very old thread, but I was wondering if this same method could be used to measure the location of the jdm sidemarkers on EGs as well. There was a link before, but I can't seem to find it.Ill try moving some words around and continue my search for an answer.
