I have the code problem of P0420(Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold) on my `98 civic; but, it just seems like my cat is not giving me any real physical signals that its going bad (rattling ect.) so can that code be due to a bad sensor? I don't have the money right now for a brand new cat but it is even worth to buy a sensor (assuming that is the problem) instead of the whole cat? does a cat even have to give off physical signals if its just burnt out ( I thought it was more of a lifetime peice on Honda's)? Any help/opinions would be greatly apperciated.

That code is almost always caused by a bad cat. They can just wear out.

Great job on the list must have took you awhile. One question tho what or where to the p codes come from like p0010 those aren't done through the engine light right.

Thank you for posting those codes. Now I know I have a bad atmospheric pressure sensor. Can anyone tell me where it is? Is it easily replaced? And if I replace it, will the "check engine" light go off? Thanks in advance for any advice.

It's built into the ECU.
