Re: (spooncivic1)
why do u need the buttons off? the faceplate comes right off. refer to page 1 of this thread to take the face off. as far as the buttons go, i think u can just rip them puppies out. good luck.

I did it to mine, and it's pretty straightforward. I wanna say I did a writeup somehwere in this huge thread.
And as far as the hazard button, just pop the whole peice out. You have to to get the climate control out anyawys.

Re: (newbiehonda_05)
excellent write-up, i just did mines today. turned out pretty good but i am not happy with the cluster. I think imma go do the cluster again with new bulbs.
Heres my clock- (i used transparent film and colored it orange)
Heres the deck/climate control- (i used the same steps from the clock and painted all the buttons)
And heres the last, the cluster. it turned out okay. as i said i need new bulbs

Re: (Crank)
Well I was looking for the same amber look and was searching around and found a site called superbrightleds.com and they have the specific bulbs you guys are looking for in LED form in white, yellow, amber ,red, blue and they even sell the bases that the bulbs plug in together. Great service and cheap too. I have all my bulbs in my Sol changed to LEDS and they look great. I wish I had pics, I will post some soon. The site is worth checking out.

alright, kinda bringing this back from the dead. I Finally got around to doing this. I used the paint that Baily used (and IMO is a very shitty paint) and the result wasn't as I was hopping for. It turned out very red.
I have some Amber stainded glass paint that I used to paint my corners with (turned out great). It is more or a translusent paint then this. I was wondering if anyone has tryed with that kind of paint, instead of Opeique paint?

stained glass paint will probably work fine, why not jus use some amber bulbs?
