B-series swap problem... HELP!!
This is the story... I'm putting a B16A2 w/YS1 tranny into my 94' Del Sol S. The motor was ripped out of a 92' Integra DA. I know I have to get the hydro conversion from Hasport, and I got the Del Sol VTEC shift linkage, and the sub-harness for the VTEC.
Here's the problems...
- What do I do about the front wheel hubs not matching for the axles? Can I somehow press the hubs out of the Integra knuckles and use them or do I have to get Del Sol VTEC or Si hubs and knuckles. I tried just using the Integra knuckles but they were rubbing against the spring, so I can't use it.
Other than waiting for parts to get here that's all I'm having trouble with...

Re: B-series swap problem... HELP!! (Soul of Osiris)
did you try putting a b-series axle inside the del sol hub? if you didnt, you'll be surprise at how will they fit... in another word YOU YOUR DEL SOL (CIVIC) HUB ARE FINE THE WAY THEY ARE, B-SERIES AXLES SHOULD GO IN THEIR FINE UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO UPGRADE YOUR BRAKES.

Re: B-series swap problem... HELP!! (pooorman's type-r)
well....no i didn't try that cause i was curious and put the D-series axle in the YS1 tranny and the spindle were too small
So I guess I should have added that the Del Sol had the D15 SOHC in it to begin with.. or does that not make a difference?

Re: B-series swap problem... HELP!! (Soul of Osiris)
Your suppost to use the axles that came with your swap. B-Series axles will fit into your Del Sol Hubs... My 99 GSR swap fit perfect, and I used those axles that came with my swap and they fit PERFECTLY into the hubs on my 92 Civic CX hatch ... If you dont have the axles that came with the swap, just got get some and make sure you have the half shaft as well

I had an obd0 b16 swap a while back and I used the axles that were used on an ef in my eg.
Everything fit fine. I am still using the same axles/half shaft. I have a 92 cx that had the 1.5L
