You'll need to find a way to connect the hoses at the joint where the one-way valve was. It may be possible to use a generic one-way valve; it's not like they are special to Hondas. Problem will be finding the right size. Might have some luck approaching aquarium supply companies.
Otherwise, you will find that you can't/shouldn't fill up your washer fluid tank higher than the squirters on your bumper or else fluid will flow out of them, and when it sloshes around when you're driving.

Hmm, too bad. Are you missing any other parts?

Hey'a Deschlong - can you give me a PN for the replacement wiper blade for the back window? The riveted in wiper brace is a poor design in an era where they like to sell complete assemblies. Maybe there is another wiper arm that would fit the knurl and retain the 11 inch sweep therefore bringing us into the 21st century.
I find your DYI's very detailed and informative, not filled with opinions that weren't asked for - almost like I am on a real forum!

^ It is possible to look up the wiper blade rubber replacement p/n on any Honda parts site. I have a handful of new ones here. Take care when removing/installing because there are two thin retaining pieces of metal that provide a backbone of support which can easily be lost/forgotten/bent. (Maybe check to ensure you have these and they are in good condition before ordering.)

Oh yeah, I kept the two stainless retaining stiffeners because I had a feeling they'd be part of the puzzle. AutoZone and all the other parts places in Seattle do not carry rubber inserts that have a wide enough anchor point to fill and put tension on the carrier. I do not know how you get parts like this up in the interior of Canada.

Yeah, you need OEM ... just go to your local dealer.
I tack them on to larger orders from the US so I don't get fussed about the shipping (which sucks anyway because of the international costs to ship to Canada).

They retail for $8 at my local dealership, I think I pay about $4 apiece. You can also get the inserts for the front wiper blades as well (even the new Hondas are setup this way) But it requires that you have a set of OEM wipers which most people don't

^ PS. If you're looking for replacement front wipers I STRENUOUSLY recommend http://www.silblade.com/ (available through CrackMasters in Canada). I've had mine on for THREE YEARS and they are as good as new. They come with a 5-yr warranty.

The PN# for the rear blade insert is 76732-SR3-305. Slipped right on and locked into position. Very nice wiper - no more streaking!
Thank you very much for the recommendation for front wipers. If anyone knows about the best wiper it would be someone that lives in a harsh, northern climate.

Re: [FAQ] Civic EG/EH 92-95 JDM Headlight Washer / Rear Wiper / Trunk Light Install D
hey my man deschlong, another question...
are the ek (96-98) headlamp squirters the same as the eg ones?
ive seen some ek ones (claimed to be ek ones by the car owner).
they seem to be more pointy than the flat head eg ones. material and construction of the squirters aand its pointy head seems to be similar to the eg ones, but minus the koito logo.
thanks again in advance for any info.

96-98 are different from 92-95, and 99-00 are different again slightly from 96-98. There is an old For Sale post of mine where you can see these differences, as well as a post in this sub-forum.

I didn't go as far as installing the front squirters but I did use this guide in my CX to install the trunk light and wire up the rear wiper. It was my first addition to my car and definitely worth your time doing this. Taught me a lot about wiring and also taught me how to read wiring schematics.

Re: [FAQ] Civic EG/EH 92-95 JDM Headlight Washer / Rear Wiper / Trunk Light Install D
No, that won't work. The relay is a special relay with a 2-second timer or some such. Anyway, if you can't find one on a Honda (other Hondas have identical ones), then look for any other 90s vehicle with headlight washers (eg., Toyota). My research suggests the company Koito holds the patent for the system so they are the OEM mfr for many car makers. Ergo, a lot of the electronics (and parts in general) are similar across companies.
Also, the system can be wired to bypass the relay. The headlight washers will spray for as long as the button is pressed.

Re: [FAQ] Civic EG/EH 92-95 JDM Headlight Washer / Rear Wiper / Trunk Light Install D
yea i know that will be work without this relay, but im afraid that i can burn my switch when i will not install a relay. my friend lost 2 switches in that way :/ im not sure if relay is responsibility for his damages, i just say what i heard from him
so anyway, you say this relay is not good for HLW?? i know how i have to connect cables with aftermarket one. my other friend from sweeden has HLW and everything is good.the point is, like i said, numbers on each pins in this DENSO relay.
like on this one
and i would use that one DENSO relay
