Oil leakage from shifter shaft.....
Hey Guys, in putting several old clunkers back on the road.....this is a new leak I have never dealt with. Put a new motor in manual tranny 95 and now have a slow drip from the input shift linkage to the tranny. I guess drivin in and out the roll pin may have caused the seal to start leaking. Can I change that seal out from the out side.....hope so Would hate to have to tear the tranny down just to replace a seal. Have never messed with one.....any pointers in getting that not to leak.......I hate a car that leaks......thanks...

The part you need is #13 and by the looks of the diagram, it's done from the outside of the tranny unlike say the ISB seal.

Re: Oil leakage from shifter shaft.....
Thanks for the diagram Tom Cat. 13 appears also to be a bushing /seal one piece unit. Bet thats gonna be a Honda only part and maybe a bit fussy getting it out with the shaft in place. Well, got a new motor installed, new brakes, rad, exhaust, muffler, mirrors, blinkers, fenders, and paint. Spent most of day installing all the removables for the paint job, time for its first test drive today.....

Re: Oil leakage from shifter shaft.....
And by part number I mean the honda part number.
In example Part #13 the OP requires is bolded and enlarged:
#13 91215-PL3-005 Oil Seal (14X25X15) (Nok)
