I will be doing this DIY soon, going to the JY tomorrow to see what I can find... Also working on the Low fuel light, just need the wire. There were actually two of the Japan built 97 Sedans at the yard a couple months ago, and yup I snagged both of the fuel sensors!
we have been having some serious fog down here, usually only in the winter and in the morning, but the way people drive I seriously need this for safety...

I just did my second install of a rear fog over Xmas and it went really smoothly.

I couldn't believe it... Especially after reading your threads, it blew my mind.. I grabbed both so I could sell one relatively cheap to another HT member doing the retrofit.

Nice, I already have the rear tail lamp harness from when I installed JDM rear tails.. And I want to do it as OEM as possible, just like in your DIY's..

So is oem spec for the fog light can only be on if the headlights, or at least the parking lights are on? I've successfully completed the fit, and love it. thanks again.

Re: [DIY] Honda Civic 92-95 "OEM" Rear Fog Lamp Retrofit Install Guide
Just finished the install and works perfectly, but may have a possible problem.
My car overheated because I blew the in cabin 7.5 fuse for the heater motor relay, cooling fan relay, and rear defrost relay, so my fans wouldn't kick on.
My question is can the rear fog blow that fuse because I wired the red/black wire from the rear fog light switch to the rear defrost switch's red/black wire. I have since replaced the fuse and everything is working fine but I haven't turned on the rear fog light since.

Well that is suspicious, but the rear fog has nothing to do with the other wires on the rear defrost. So my answer is no, it won't do that normally, but you may have wired something incorrectly - like if you tapped in to the wrong wire. Best verify, with a multimeter preferably.

The only wires tapped into were the red/black on the defrost switch and the red on the dimmer switch. Didn't have a multimeter on hand to test it then but will do tomorrow. What is the purpose of the red/black wire?

Re: [DIY] Honda Civic 92-95 "OEM" Rear Fog Lamp Retrofit Install Guide
has anyone already installed it on EK? i had the PHDM 96 Civic and i had been contemplating on installing rear fogs.what i intend to do is, the rear fog lights automatically came on when the park light is on. which means, i will be tapping from the tail light to the brake light but placing a diode in the middle. that is the plan for now, while waiting for the front fog lights-- when i have it installed, i will be tapping the rear fogs into the front

DO NOT INSTALL THIS!!!
Please don't cut holes in your bumper. Por favor, não corte furos em seu pára-choque. That car is too beautiful!
This is NOT where the rear fog light installs. The rear fog light is integrated into the rear tail lamp. It does NOT go in the bumper. See this DIY for an example: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2481875

Re: [DIY] Honda Civic 92-95 "OEM" Rear Fog Lamp Retrofit Install Guide
Sorry for bumping this older thread guys.
Can anyone please confirm that with the mentioned setup of OP, the innner P21/5W's can't be used for braking as we swapped GRN/WHT with RED/YEL ?
I'm struggling to get the inners to do it all : position / brake / fog lights.
e.g: like in this video right here, that's what i would like to achieve :
The 4 lights do position and brakes and the 2 inners do rear Fog when activated.
i tried connecting RED/YEL ( the fogs) on the GRN/WHT (brakes) cable but then i have the whole rear innner/outer lighting up ( doesn't like the short )
edit for more context:
It's an EDM EG9 and the prewired cables coming from the car are 5 pin, with the Fog lights being the last RED/YEL cable but not pinned on the female connector. (weird stuff)
Someone mentioned to me that i have to bridge a cable to the outer lights to achieve the disired results? A bridge like when we want blinkers as position lights here in EU spec cars.
