Well from what I read using the search on this site, most people prefered b18b over b16a and b18c. And all I asked was if that price is good, ls complete swap for $1,500. That was all I wanted to know, thank you...

I would go ls if you were to rebuild everything. Otherwise, i would stick with the gsr. That is a good price on both motors.

Ok...thanks man, I plan on rebuilding the ls, so that is why I see it as an ideal engine for boosting as well as cost effecient.

yea but a basically stock LS motor with a little bit of work boostin to the sound of 12 sec 1/4's on street tires is pretty appealing, not to mention full interior and female driven. Shamois owz joo!

I'll be getting an ls block when i boost but i don't have enough courage to boost it stock. Maybe i could buy 2 blocks and have one for back up. I do like the idea of cheap power though.

never said it was better, I said it was most "favorable" on this site from what I've searched so far. Not being bias towards any engine, and hope you aren't being either. Here's another question for you unbiased people out there , between the two for boosting, both planning to get built. Which would you recommend, yes this topic has be reviewed a trillion times as I found on search. I hear so many different answers, but all I'm saying is I saw from honda-tech peoples point of view that the b18b was the most favorable engine for boosting, thats all. I wasn't stating one is better than the other, just telling you what I have decided to go with and why and my resources are honda-tech search.

volk ce28n,
where are you getting those engines from? im looking for either a b16a2 or a b18c1 to go into my cx in the near future. that price sounds good for the b18c1.

if you aren't looking to simply save money by getting the ls swap then buy that and spend what is the difference of buying the gsr on building the bottom end. this is what i would do. so with the extra 1200 bucks or so make the ls capable of handleing some good boost and maybe work on fuel, you'll have quite the set-up. thats my input since i didn't see it brought to the table yet.
