*searched* tranny weird stuff.

so a little while ago when i was at the track i fukucked my diff. anyways, i got my hands on a new diff, got it all installed and back together and everything. so tonight i fired it up the first time and when i went to let out the clutch in neutral it wanted to stall. if i had let it out completely it would have stalled. forward and reverse work, but its messed. im pretty much assuming that i have to pull out the tranny again and pop it open, but everything looked good when i put it back together the first time. any ideas? something binding maybe? but what??? thanks in advance!

A friend of mine and I had the same problem but it was on a DSM. Basically, one of the little rings didnt seat properly and if the clutch was pressed in..then out..it would want to stall ad would stall as soon as we took it out all the way.

My friend got pissed so he shifted through all the gears with the cltuch in and we heard a litte "ting" and from then on hes been running flawless 13.6's with no tranny problems.

can anyone suggest this for a s21? that would be the nicest is just taking it for a drive and it fixing itself! im guessing that something like one of the stacks or the diff or something isnt seated properly? problem is that if something is binding in there and driving it like that doesnt fix it, itll wear it out REAL quick with that much friction! if it doesnt just blow up...
