Default *Searched* Car bogs while driving normal.

So here is my story. I got a tune up done on my car about 2 months ago. I changed, fuel filter, cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires along with a new oil change. Then, about 3 weeks ago, i get a new exhaust line instaled. Magnaflow 2.25" header back. The mecanic had to peirce a hole to fit the o2 sensor because the line didn't have one. So he does that, welds it nice and clean. He warned me if the check engine light comes on, don't worry, it's for your o2 sensor. Fine. Two days later, the cel comes on, wtv. It's now 2 weeks i'm driving my car with the cel on. Today, as i'm driving, the car starts bogging and struggles for power. I checked everything, all is intact. It starts bogging at 3k. Can anyone help me out? I doubt n o2 sensor would cause this? (it's brand new)

Car is a 1998 civic ex with a stock D6Y8. All it has is a short ram.

Thanks!

I didn't scan it. I didn't see where he placed it either. I'm guessing where it goes originaly?

Go to Autozone or another parts store and have them scan your code. It's free.

Don't assume the only code it's throwing is the O2 sensor.

This is why you don't want to have a CEL, even if it seems "harmless". If your car is throwing a code and therefore lighting the CEL, then you won't know if you get another code.

I thought the primary O2 sensor was placed right after the runners intersect. The secondary would be in his catalytic converter under the car.

on some headers, its placed on one of the side cylinders. 1 or 2. I'm not sure if thats the best spot, but I've seen it countless times.
