Does anyone have any experience w/ having their car slammed 4in like me, n have problems bouncing all over the streets, and have pretty decent shocks??? If so what brand are they and how's the ride quality and price. u know after driving around town slammed n bouncing for over 2 yrs u eventually get tired of it, im fed up w/ it. any suggestions/pics would help. thanks.

if youre lowered 4 inches, there really isnt any kind of struts that would help you, unless the ones you have are completely shot. but if you wanna be lowered 4 inches and have a decent ride, get air suspension.

4 inches, your factory ones are SO SHOT that you dont EVEN know they are SHOT!

Get the air suspension... I'm surprise you make it over lil pebbles on the road.

You can try using ST drop forks and a set of short piston struts - like tanabe or something.

Hey ek9 ferio, I've been there, for a long time. In my old cx bomb, I was running shitty *** "arospeed" coilovers. When a 2" drop wasen't enough, I went to 3", then to 4. After that I removed the purches altogether. Total drop of about 4.25. Speed bumps...NOPE. Potholes...SWERVE. I just got used to it. Then I got the 'ol DOHC in there. *[rolls eyes]* THEN ON TOP of swervin like your missin gunfire, I started changing tires/balljoints/wheel bearings every time I got gas. When I tried to put it all back to normal, the stock shocks were so shot the stem was just stuck down...seriously. After all that all I can say it.......IMHO other than looks, a drop that low does nothing good for a car. Experience is the best teacher. I know better now

I got agx's also, but i dont think they will hold up on a 4" drop. I suggest you either raise that thing, or prepare to be bouncing untill your car can bounce no more

get some GC's and pair them with Tokico Illuminas, cut the bumpstops in half and flip the purches on the struts....that should work....my friend has that setup on his 99 hatch and it has a 3 1/2" drop.

on some struts you can remove the purches....remove them and turn them upside down and put them back on the strut. on some struts (like my agx's) the perch is welded on...but tokico illuminas have a purch that you can remove (hammer). i didn't do it to my hatchback...and i know it probably sounds ghetto, but it works on my friends accord and hatchback.
