its a 99 civic dx hatch.
no options that i know of.
it has a rust spot on the front of the nood.(about the size of a nickel.)
some scuffs on the passenger side of the front bumper and some scuffs on the spoiler.
has 73,500 miles on it.
and when i popped the hood i noticed that the motor had corrosion on the valvecover and the head.
and they want 9,895
let me know what you think

I would offer 5000, but then again i hate the dealerships, they are all bull ****. They tried to sell my bro a 96 corolla S and said he would be different from all the civic with some TRD parts. They said he could beat an SI too, not to say an SI is incredibly fast but seriously and 4 door S omg.

hmm. no options? looks like it has a spoiler...no stereo (from what i see, that may be cup holders...w/e is in that empty hole). Wheels look stock...
Personally, i would pay no more than $6000, as a maximum. If you look at a KBB value it is $7200 used from dealer, but KBB private party value (which i suggest b/c it has some corrosion and rust spots, dealers usually should fix this) anywhere from $4900 - $5500. so somewhere in that range

I picked up a 98 EX sedan with mint body and interior with 40K miles on it for 9K in Massachusetts 6 months ago. With the shape the car is in, and the mileage, I really wouldnt offer anything over 6500, but then again it might even be less.

not a wing buddy, its a spoiler. Wings are raised above the car, you usually dont have them on hatch backs, unless you want to be uber ricer and look gay. spoilers are extentions of the back, which means the whole spoiler touches the car, not just mounted on 2 or 3 posts

I know it's not a 99' but I just picked up a 96' DX Hatch for $2400. Car is rust free and the interior is spotless. It's black also, this lady was a second owner who had just bought a new jetta, she even did OEM honda oil changes still.

You can probably find an Si for that price. I got my 99 hatch a few months ago from a small dealership for $5900.

Honda Of Bellevue is always going to be high on price. I bought a 1998 hatch in 1997 NEW with 3 miles and I paid 15,000. So the price there asking seems high. As for the poster below.. the prices of the SI here in Washington are high. They still run from about 10,000 to 15,000.
I looked in the autotrader and I saw for the same car 5,000-7,000 dollars.

$9,895 isn't that far off from $10k. I live in Seattle too. The best place to look for cars is up north in Lynnwood/Shoreline. The dealerships there aren't as shady in prices as the ones in downtown, bellevue, renton, and burien.

I fixed my post from above! Bellevue is charging a lot. I saw one at Lynwood Honda for 7,000. And the SI's I have seen for 10,000 are usually crappy. But I do agree that he should look at Lynwood, Renton and Seattle. Or better yet if he can purchase through a private party it would be even better.

Actually just forget that I mentioned the Si. Seattle and it's surrounding area is probably the worst place to own an Si or GSR. They get stolen in a heartbeat.

They have all ready broken into my car once and tried to steal it. Then 2 months later they stole the car. But it is back and I know on average they prowl it once a month... and I live in Kirkland!!!
