Sorry about your car- if you're hoping people can help you find it though you should post pictures.

damn it sucks your car got stolen.... thats why you gotta have a very good alarm and tell all your friends that you keep a shotgun next to the front door(as a buff) because you never know if it was your own friends... it happens man

Hate to see this yet again. Good luck on the recovery. There has been alot of stolen civics in the Seattle area lately..I've seen a lot of posts within the last month or two. Good security can go a long way and IMO is the most overlooked "mod" per say. Good security, being careful how you talk about your car, parking somewhere that would be hard for a tow truck/roll back to get to your car and you have a great chance at being ok.

I thought so. I actually considered going to look at it when it still had a turbo, but it was just too far away. Damn man... again, good luck finding it.

IMO the best way to protect your car from being stolen is a kill switch where only you know where it is

A friend of mine had that but the thieves were watching him and stole it once they saw where it was.

I know what makes it worse is he only had it for like a month- that's barely enough time to get the seats adjusted.

Has anyone tried lojack? Does that work?

Not when the idiots who install it put in the stupist places.

Freind had lojack in 3 cars, and they were both placed under the back seats, one was stolen, car was never found, however the lojack box was.

you gotta be super slick with kill switches. theives know about those and they know that theyre located somewhere a driver can easily reach them. its not hard to find them from sitting in the drivers seat. best one ever that i seen was in the back of the cigarette lighter. the lighter was in-op and the back of the socket was where the push switch was located. that was james bond IMO best thing IMO is hit up hollywood spy shop. they have GPS units for your car and you can put them on 9-volt battery power. you just pay like 20 bucks a month per unit and you can activate them at will when you need em. you can see where your ride is from any computer with internet. i recommend putting a few on your car in different areas incase thieves start striping your ride. and use the battery power from the 9-volt so that thieves wont follow misc wires from the battery or other power sources.
